What is the experience of applying for the DTV from consulates in Southeast Asia without returning to the U.S.?
I would like to apply for the DTV without returning to the U.S. Does anyone have experience with consulates or embassies in Malaysia, Laos, or Cambodia? Success stories (or not) and details most welcome, thank you.

Malaysia is the most strict SEA Embassy to apply from. Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia are easier to apply from. Check this FB group for lots of posts on applying all those places .
