Hi there. Need a 60 day tourist visa for Thailand. Flying in. No need to renew after 60 days. Currently in Kampot, Cambodia, but I guess I will need to do it at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh. Has anyone done this, and knows how long it normally takes? Their phone lines are busy. Thanks. ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the process of obtaining a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand while currently in Kampot, Cambodia. They are specifically asking about the processing time at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh, where they intend to apply. Responses indicate that the processing time is typically three working days, requiring the applicant to submit their application and passport one morning and pick it up two days later in the afternoon. It's advised to check the Thai consulate's website for specific requirements to avoid issues during the application process.
I am interested in PP too for a Non O retirement visa. Their (website) requirements are fairly simple and I thank you for the time frame. Is there anything else I need to know ?

It's all on their website. You turn in your application/passport and pay one day in the morning and you get the passport back TWO days later in the afternoon (3 working days to process)
Please READ and MEET the requirements on the Thai consulate Phnom Penh website or you won't get the visa issued
