TM30 Chaengwattana update.
I've lived and worked in Bangkok for 14 years and like many had never done a TM30 report. Now that it is a requirement I decided to do my first ever report by mail (like I do for my 90 day reports).
I mailed in the form, in my Landlord's name, with me, my wife, and son listed on the reverse, together with all the copies of documents listed by Tod. I mailed it by EMS with the return envelope also EMS stamped.
3 weeks later, I received the receipt and schedule. No fine.
Hopefully this is now it until I move address or leave the country.
One query is that my wife and son will be going to Laos in July, but not me. Presumably, as we only have one receipt and schedule for all 3 of us, I won't need to submit a new report when they return?
Edit: The last time our teachers were at Chaengwattana doing their Extensions, they were told that they didn't need to submit a new TM30 report unless they moved to a new permanent address. I think I'll follow this advice and risk my wife/son getting a fine when we do our family Extensions in November.
