Can anyone recommend any consulate or embassy outside Thailand that you've had a good experience with applying for a visa?

The country I'm in at the moment, the visa office has one employee that rarely shows up to work, it's 2 hours flight from where I live and they don't answer the phone lol.

Thinkig of just flying to a different spot and applying from there. Thanks

Hello there! Chinese citizen currently traveling in Turkey. I'm trying to get at least a Thai tourist visa from a Thai Embassy out of China since now going back to China is a pain in the a**. Any suggestions of where I could go to get a tourist visa without being a residency in their country? Many thanks!!
