Hi there! Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in Bangkok for a first night (or more)? I apparently *must* book something for my online visa application. I'm looking for something average in price, but with a nice atmosphere, that draws a lot of travellers/backpackers. Thank you guys in advance! (PS if you know one with an infinity pool and a bar also in the pool, that's welcome too, bc that's on my bucket list ;D)

Try this new hotel called Eastin Phayathai. If you take the train from Suvarnabhumi airport this hotel is right on the same station as the airport train terminal station Phayathai. I've seen one of the 2 pools; the one i saw didn't have the bar but definitely was an infinity pool. Or try Eastin Grand Sathorn; they have a bar right where the infinity pool is

No need to rush and book something before you've had proper time to do your research. Just go on Agoda and book a hotel with free cancellation. Submit this booking with your visa application and then you can decide to keep it or cancel it based on your research once your visa is issued.
