Stay far away from Khaosan rd. The worst pad thai in the world, tiny portion and its expensive. The noodles were at least 30 years old and they didn't even include peanuts or a lime. It also had no sauce (sweetness) it was just this greasy shit.

Pad Thai is sweet shit made for Americans

though Pad Thai might be the most well known Thai food outside Thailand, your statement is ridiculous
well douche, my Thai wife just ordered it and many of the mom and pop shops upcountry cook it (where’s there almost no Farang). So….maybe you shouldn’t be a jealous tool.
If you have a chance visitting Nakorn Pathom province, an hour away from Bkk where the largest pagoda is a landmark. Please visit my place "Chateau de Kethy" where you will find my pad thai is also the best.
