Got the visa stamped into Laos, walked in, turned left to leave. You are in overtime, you pay fine!!

After 16:00 they call it overtime, it took 2 officers to convince me, but a new sign did explain that.

Travel agencies have specific schedules to cater visa applicants to go to Savannakhet border (Laos). But how about for walk-in applicants? Is it fine to go there just any day of the week? 🙂

Is the Mukdahan (Thailand) - Savannakhet (Laos) border open on Sundays? If so, what time does it open and what time does it close?

I need to do a quick out and back in border run on January 6th. I do NOT need to go to the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet. Just a border run.
