Is the Mukdahan border still open? I need to get a new visa in Savannakhet on Monday morning.

a Friend from one member wrote closed since today.

Another member wrote he heard it will close Friday.

But they all hear things, most of the times if you ask the source it is a friend of a friend.

Maybe somebody will get an official statement soon, yesterday i crossed and no talks about closing.

you can't renew anything at the thai consulate in Savannakhet so I will take it that you are going there to BUY a NEW visa ;)

At this time it's open BUT I'd sure go NOW rather than wait. There is NO advantage to waiting..
