Have to give major props to Tod Daniels. His Savannaket visa checklist is spot on. I went for non O based on marriage. Her I'd and house book, copy of marriage liscense, passport I'd page and Laos Visa. No proof of funds asked for but they did want to see original marriage certificate. Funny thing is before I left my wife read the Savannaket consulate website and she told me she had to come and a bunch of other things...Trust in Tod. Crossing border was easy nobody tried to scam me which is a first on a land border crossing. Coming back ALL bags were x-rayed so only got 1 bottle of wine back across :-(. Minimal que at consulate on drop off....waited maybe 10 minutes for pickup. Major thanks to this page for making this trip a piece of cake
