ORIGINAL POSTER
I’ve been here ages. Although I’d only had zero 30 day exempt border hops in last calendar year, when returning to Thailand a month ago, i was refused entry - at aranyapatet border.

Prior to this I’ve had tourist visas fir let’s say last 12 months blah blah, resulting - and this may or may not be key - having a remark stamped in my book at vientienne consulate saying this person has travelled here way too many times on daud visa and may be refused a visa in the future.

So back to aranyapet , Recently, a month ago, I managed to get another 30 days visa exempt entry stamp after shall we say some deliberation.

Now I have all the documents fir a student visa in place and my application has been approved by the m of e.

My question is: when I go to get this visa application stamped into my book at sawannaket Laos this week, will it be approved in light of past history etc in my book? 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual has experienced challenges with visa entries into Thailand, notably a recent refusal at the Aranyaprathet border and a prior warning about frequent tourist visa use. They are inquiring about the likelihood of successfully obtaining a student visa after these issues. Community responses suggest that while the past warning exists, the decision ultimately lies with the officials at the consulate, and many believe the applicant should be fine based on their current situation and approved documentation.

You aren't going to have ANY problem getting your 90 day single entry ED visa from the thai consulate in Vientiane.

You'll probably be fine. Aranyaprathet is known for being difficult to border bouncers. Your refusal there probably wasn't even recorded- if it was anything like mine at Sadao, they just tell you no, and nothing goes in the system or your passport, it is as if you never tried to enter.

The remark Vientiane put in about your frequent use of tourist visas only applies to tourist visas and should not cause any issues with your getting an Ed visa there.

Correct, the final decision of granting a Visa is the employee at an Embassy or Consulate and after that the final decision of letting you into Thailand is made at the checkpoint on arrival.

Let's try to not suggest illegal things, even in jest okay?

Yeah they will probably look all the pages sometimes & if you’re lucky they won’t or if they’re too many people behind you.
