Hi guys, good afternoon!

I am on ED visa (single entry), the visa valid date is until May 10th. Currently I don't want to extend it yet, and I plan go back my home country on May 10th(the last valid date of this visa ).

Unfortunately, the flight was concelled recently , l had to book the latest flight on May 12th.

My question is if I overstay 2 days, what are the re other consequences for this overstay? As I know, l would be fined 500 baht per day according to the regulations.

Thanks for your assistance in advance, and have safe days!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about overstaying their ED visa by 2 days due to a canceled flight. They are aware of the potential fine of 500 baht per day for overstaying, but seek clarification on any additional consequences. A commenter suggests that they may qualify for amnesty, which could prevent fines for their short overstay.

In theory, you qualify for amnesty and there is no overstay during this period, SO in all likelihood you will NOT be charged for the 2 day overstay

BUT

All you can do is show up and see what happens :P .
