I'm coming to Thailand for about 70 days. I know I can get a TR tourist visa ahead of time for 60 days if scuba training (unless I've misunderstood). My question is, how does one visit neighboring countries (Cambodia, Laos) and not mess up the visa length?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is planning a 70-day stay in Thailand and is considering a TR tourist visa for 60 days, possibly for scuba training. They are inquiring about the visa implications of traveling to neighboring countries like Cambodia and Laos. Comments suggest options such as obtaining a re-entry permit to maintain visa validity, the possibility of getting new 30-day visa exemptions upon re-entry, and advice on timing to manage visa expiry.
if you leaving between you get on your 70days. - otherwise you need a RE-entry stamp, cause your normal Tr visa is single entry - setv , there is a metv as well, more complicated to do.
