TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder currently on a 30-day tourist visa in Thailand, who plans to visit Cambodia for 4 days and then return to Thailand, inquires whether they will receive another 30-day tourist visa stamp upon re-entering through Bangkok's airport. Community comments suggest that as long as the return stay is under 30 days, the traveler is likely to experience no issues re-entering Thailand as a tourist.
Depends on how long you intend to stay for on your second trip.
If its under 30 days a visa exempt will suffice. Taking a trip for 2 months then a short break in Cambodia and then coming back to Thailand looks like a normal traveller to me.
