I have a 60 day tourist visa issued in the uk with approx 23 days left on it.
If I wanted to go to Cambodia now for one week do I just leave the country and then will I get a 30 day on my return or do I need a re entry visa .?
I am in Pattaya and will be flying to PP from Bangkok.
I will also be returning to the UK before my 60 day visa runs out.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you leave Thailand to visit Cambodia, your 60-day tourist visa will no longer be valid upon your return. You will receive a 30-day Visa Exempt Entry if you arrive back in Thailand without a new visa. To preserve your current visa, you could obtain a Single Re-Entry Permit before leaving, which costs 1,000 THB and allows you to maintain your existing visa status.
Wait Wait, Your visa is used and nothing more than a memory, if you leave to Cambodia it is all gone. If you come back there is NO 60 day visa to run out anymore. If you do not buy a visa in Cambodia before you come back, you can get a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry and if that is not enough time you can apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office.
OR apply for a Single Re-Entry permit, cost 1.000 Thb and on return from Cambodia you will get the same Admitted until date stamped in your passport as you have now
