Will my 30-day visa on arrival still be valid when I return to Thailand after visiting Cambodia?

Hi,

I’m currently in Thailand on a 30 day visa on arrival. I’m looking at heading to Cambodia for a few days and then back into Thailand to travel south. Will I need to pay for a new visa once I return or will the one I’m currently on still run?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the validity of their 30-day visa on arrival after traveling to Cambodia. Community responses clarify that this visa is actually a visa exempt stamp, which permits re-entry into Thailand for another 30 days stamp upon return.

Good Luck

, I think you know what stamp you're here on now AND that you can get another one entering by land when you come back from Cambodia :)

If you are from the UK, who did you pay $35 to?

The “visa” you got on arrival is not a visa. It’s a visa exempt which is good for 30 days.

You can go to Cambodia and come back and you will receive another 30day visa exempt stamp.

If you paid then a Tourist Visa is single entry, you'll get a 30 day visa exempt stamp on re-entry not a visa
