Can someone please help me with the following hypothetical scenario
60 day TR visa, then a visit to the immigration office to fill out TM.7 for an extension of another 30 days. That gives a total of 90 days in Thailand
But here's the question, what if I go to Cambodia for 30 days and then return to Thailand? Will I then have another 30 days in Thailand?
Hope that makes sense to everyone
Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether returning to Thailand after a 30-day trip to Cambodia allows them to re-enter Thailand for another 30 days on a TR visa. According to comments, upon returning to Thailand without obtaining a visa beforehand, the user would receive a 30-day visa-exempt entry stamp, which can be further extended once by 30 days at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. Additionally, it's noted that travelers can only utilize two 30-day visa-exempt entries by land in a calendar year.
if you go to cambodia and return to thailand without having bought a visa from the thai consulate there you will get stamped in on a 30 day visa exempt entry when you enter. You can extend that ONCE for 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht.
keep in mind you can only get TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year

By air there are no limitations in the number of visa exemption entries. That is, till immigration assesses the amout of back to back visa exemptions are to much. At the discretion of the immigration officer.
what if he were to go to the Thai Consulate in Cambodia and get a proper Visaβ¦would he be able to extend his stay even further (after getting another extension in Thailand for 1900bht
if he got a single entry tourist visa from the thai consulate in Phnom Penh he'd get stamped in for 60 days when he entered thailand and could extend that once for 30 more days for 1900baht too
