TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the anticipated full reopening of international flights to Thailand starting July 2020, as suggested by the Thai security chief. Comments highlight various perspectives, including skepticism about tourism due to mandatory quarantine rules, the potential for more expatriates to return to see family, and broader implications about global travel dynamics amid the pandemic. The conversation encapsulates concerns over public safety, economic impacts, and the classification of countries deemed safe for travel.

The entire world is now a huge experiment. The various populations have been divided into various groups. The our gawd will protect us group, The O.K. we will isolate ourselves tomorrow, tonite Boxing Match, football game, political rally, choir practice. The best medical minds on earth have been crunching the numbers on causes and effects. Every vested interest group is willing to throw huge masses of people under the bus to protect their share prices, reelection chances and or personal prejudices.... The longer we wait, the closer we will get to the

vision that comes from hindsite. It is a balancing act with no clear winning strategy. Sweden??? AAAAAAAhhhhhhhh...... New Zealand? YYYYYYaaaaaa. The longer we watch the cause & effect elsewhere prior to opening up, the better the decision that will be made. Error is certain. To error on the side of caution is a compassionate choise.

I hope you are not suggesting that politicians , are intelligent . The experiment was easy , most countries had a case by the end of Jan . But failed to even temp check incoming passengers . I mean have we got idiots running countries . No testing done really , Taiwan did great . I would bet the Thailand numbers came from 3 places . Europe , USA and returning overseas workers from South Korea and Ships . I mean genius , it’s not ANY politicians . Dumb and dumber .
