Hello, my daughter is coming on a 60 days TR visa to Bangkok. She will stay in ASQ for 14 days and then shift to stay with us. Will the hotel give her TM30 receipt which they filed with the immigration? When she shifts to stay with us I can ask my landlord to file her TM30 and give me the receipt. If she wants to extend her TR visa is she required to show the last TM30 receipt to the immigration at Changwattana? Please advise.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The hotel should provide a TM30 receipt upon request, as they are obligated to do so for guests. If your daughter moves to stay with you, you can ask your landlord to file her TM30 and obtain the necessary receipt. For extending her TR visa at the Changwattana immigration office, while it's not universally required to show the TM30 receipt, it’s advisable to have it available to avoid any potential fines.

The hotel would (and has to) give her a TM30 receipt (or capture from the screen) if she asked for. They usually don't provide TM30 receipt/screen-shot unless the guest requests.

She may or may not need to show a TM30 receipt for tourist extension at CW. Many reports say they -CW- don't require TM30 receipt for 30days extension for tourism reasons. I'm not sure if it's 100% or not, so better to be prepared.

Probably not; she will not need to show a "trail" of TM30s to get any type of extension.

>can ask my landlord to file her TM30 and give me the receipt.

Yes you can. Your landlord should file the TM30. If for whatever reason s/he won't file the TM30, self file (read this post here:

She may be asked to show the TM30 receipt to immigration, otherwise she will be fined.

Nice advice. I did a TR extension and COVID extension in BKK and both times my TM30 receipt wasn't asked for, it was actually given back to me.
