My non o retirement visit is due at the end of next month. Are there any new requirements I should be aware of🙏
Answer summary
When renewing your NON-O retirement visa in Thailand, recent updates indicate that you may be required to provide a 12-month bank statement as opposed to the previously required 6 months. Some immigration offices are also requesting specific documentation such as photographs of your residence, including pictures of the exterior, interior, and your identification in front of the house. It's important to note that requirements can vary by immigration office, and it's advisable to confirm with the local office you plan to visit to ensure you have all necessary documents.

Why don't you just Ask the IM office you are going to use 🤔 they are all different 🤔.
Everybody in this group can tell you about their own experience. But you have to take care only for the requirements your immigration officer will tell you. In case you have to return to the immigration office again, a different office may require different things. Take it with dignity and a smile. It is a Buddhist country, even immigration requirements are in permanent flow.
Agree. Walk in there dressed like a fool, you will be treated like a fool. Show any disrespect and they will find a fault. Smile and be polite. It costs nothing.
This year they wanted a letter from the bank covering the entire year, before it was 6 months at my Immigration office and I had to sign every page for a few documents for the 1st time. I also had my 1st home visit a month later.
MotivatedFish5116 did you have to provide a copy of your lease, and the documents with it, last year? If not then that's the only thing I've heard of, and a copy of your TM30, that has changed in the last year.
They'll think of something. They want you to use an agent so they can share the fee. Everything in Thai administration is overcomplicated to allow for 'negotiation'.
I went to Krabi immigration last week and for the first time they wanted a 12 months bank statement from the day they issued my last extension of stay until the day I went to Bangkok bank. The statement is valid for 7 days.
They also wanted 4 pictures from my house.
2 pictures outside . One picture of me in front of the house and one where they could see the house number.
2 pictures from inside the house of 2 different rooms.
They also gave me the application.
Everything was something I didn't know about and I have been here permanently for 18 years and 3 months.
Preben Kronborg Nielsen day? The demand is 12 transfers, and hopefully they don't start with specific dates money is transferred.. Then most would have screwed up, as transfere done when pension received in native land
