Hello! I have 3 bank statements. For my August and October bank statements I have over 500,000 baht but for my September bank statement I have 465,000baht. I’ll also have over 500,000 baht the day I apply do you know if that will qualify? Or will I need to wait 2 more months to apply so I’ll have 500,000 baht for October, November, and December? I’m applying for the soft power dtv. I already got my letter from the cooking class. I’m wanting to apply through Vietnam. Was planning flying into Vietnam on the 17th of November to apply. I’m open to apply in another country not far from Thailand if that embassy will be okay with the bank statements I currently have. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessity of maintaining a consistent amount of 500,000 baht in bank statements for a soft power DTV visa application. They have sufficient funds in some months but fall short in September, pondering whether this would affect their application. Community members suggested that while embassies look for financial stability, having slightly less than 500,000 baht for a single month might not be detrimental, especially if the required amount is present on application day. They advised focusing on clear financial documentation and even mentioned logistical details regarding applying from Vietnam.

Just make sure to go to Hanoi and not HCMC. HCMC is experiencing major delays currently (I’ve been waiting now for over 3 weeks) while Hanoi is doing them in less than 10 business days.

Besides the defined amount of 500k what the embassies are looking for is financial stability and Independence. Having around 500K and then sinking a bit below one month is not a detriment in the big picture. Will you include your October statement?

Keep it simple 1 account with the required amount for the required time for the specific Embassy is sufficient.

It should be fine Every place is different Some only need the 500 k on the day before application

Vietnam does give approvals with a recent deposit of 500K along with several months of statements.
