What are the bank statement requirements for a DTV visa application in Vietnam?

Hi everyone, I am intending to apply for a DTV in HCMC in Vietnam. I see from posts in this group that 6 months of bank statements are required. Do you need to have had more than 500,000 baht (roughly USD 15,000) in the account EVERY MONTH FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS? I currently have 15,000 USD in the account. However, over the last 6 months, I had about 11,000 USD in the account per month. Will this be a problem? Grateful for your advice and sharing your experience ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry focuses on the bank statement requirements for obtaining a DTV visa in Vietnam, particularly whether it is necessary to maintain a balance of over 500,000 baht consistently each month for the previous six months. While some comments suggest strict adherence to this rule, others indicate that different embassies may have varying policies, and it is advisable to verify the requirements with the specific embassy or consulate before applying.

No. I had it topped up for 2 days before the application.

It can be a problem, but who knows... Every embassy/consulate has different policies. Better to ask first to the embassy/consulte that you want to apply to be sure about the requirements on this moment.

If the requirement of the Embassy is 6 month, then the money should have been there during all 6 month.

Other Embassies only require you have the mony in the bank for 3 months.

And some Embassies would accept 500.000 Baht only days before applying.
