TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the likelihood of immigration performing a home visit for their marriage visa, which is currently under consideration until January 6, 2026. They have a re-entry permit and have questions about their visa status and the potential for immigration visits, as this is their first marriage visa. Comments suggest that home visits are common for first-time marriage visa applicants, and users recommend communicating plans with immigration to coordinate any visit.

You will get about 30 mins notice before they turn up and expect you to be there.

They will call you first before they show up. If you are out of town they might do a video call like they did during covid.

Did you explain to the immigration officer your plan to leave Thailand and what dates you would be out of the country when you applied for the extension so they could time any home visit for when you are there? If not you should go back to the relevant section and explain to them. Don't rely on the fact a different section gave you a re-entry permit

Your marriage visa ran out when it expired. You are not renewing your marriage visa. You have applied for an exension of stay based on being married to a Thai. You have been given an "under consideration" stamp. It is likely that Immigration officers will want to visit you and your partner at your home.

Yes but normally you would have you or you would get a call in a day or so
