Can I do my 90-day report at a different immigration office in Thailand?

Hi,

I’ve I picked up my yearly extension (married to a Thai) at Chiang mai immigration office on the 5th of April. That same day was the due date to do my 90days report but didn’t have time to do it at the immigration as I had to catch a fly to Samui that same morning. I use to do my 90 days report online until now but seems like it’s not working this time after I’ve tried several times.

I am flying back then to Bangkok before heading back to my home country for a while.

Can I do my 90days report it in person at the immigration office in Samui or is it supposed to be done only from the office of residency ?

If it’s not possible, I will have to pay a fine of course. But will that be a problem for me to ask for my re-entry permit at the Suvarnabhumi airport on the day of my departure ?

Thank you in advance for your feedback and advice 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking about the possibility of submitting their 90-day report at the immigration office in Samui, as they were unable to do so in Chiang Mai on their due date. They are also concerned about any implications this delay might have on obtaining a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi airport. Community responses clarify that the 90-day report must be submitted at the immigration office of residence and reassure that a late report will not affect the user's ability to leave Thailand or obtain a re-entry permit.

They always slip a new one into my passport in Chiang Mai. I just did my extension a few weeks ago and when I asked she showed me it tucked into the plastic cover for my Passport.

I live in chonbury and I did 90 days at Phuket with tm30 provided by my hotel. When I back chonburi need to do new tm30 based on my residence, my house.

... that's normal. The TM30 is easy, just do it online whenever you return from anywhere.

Unfortunately they didn’t do it for mine.

Check to see if they did it while you where there, the receipt will be in your passport. Immigration always does mine when I get my new extension.

Your 90 day report, if submitted in person, MUST be in the Thai Immigration office where you live.

It cannot be submitted in any other Thai immigration office.

Failing to file the 90 day report timely will NOT 🚫 affect your ability to leave Thailand.

You will be able to get the Reentry permit at the Airport.

Question: He’s residence and TM.30 is in CM at date, but if he stays some days in a hotel in Samui or Bangkok and the hotel gives a new updated TM.30 upon his stay, would he be able to do the 90 days report (in person) where he currently stays for a shorter period?

the 90 day report , if done in person, MUST be done in the Thai Immigration office where he obtained the one year extension. It can be done in person, by another person, by mail or using the on-line report system.
