Hi,
I’ve I picked up my yearly extension (married to a Thai) at Chiang mai immigration office on the 5th of April. That same day was the due date to do my 90days report but didn’t have time to do it at the immigration as I had to catch a fly to Samui that same morning. I use to do my 90 days report online until now but seems like it’s not working this time after I’ve tried several times.
I am flying back then to Bangkok before heading back to my home country for a while.
Can I do my 90days report it in person at the immigration office in Samui or is it supposed to be done only from the office of residency ?
If it’s not possible, I will have to pay a fine of course. But will that be a problem for me to ask for my re-entry permit at the Suvarnabhumi airport on the day of my departure ?
Thank you in advance for your feedback and advice 🙏🏻
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual has renewed their yearly visa extension in Chiang Mai but missed the 90-day report due date due to travel. They inquire if they can report in person at the immigration office in Koh Samui, given that they are unable to complete the online process. Responses indicate that the 90-day report can be done at any immigration office, provided a TM30 form is filed by their accommodation. Additionally, it is noted that a new visa extension restarts the 90-day reporting requirement, which may negate the need for the report immediately after renewal.
