Retirement Renewal. I know you must present evidence of 800k for 3 months after last renewal and 3 months before renewal, plus 400k throughout. Just went to get proof statement from Bangkok Bank and they said they can only provide last 6 months. They have to get from main branch in Bangkok, I'm in Phuket. Anyone else encountered this problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user facing difficulties in obtaining the necessary bank statements for their retirement visa renewal from Bangkok Bank in Phuket seeks advice on handling this issue. Community members confirm that it's common for branches to require orders from Bangkok for older statements and suggest allowing extra time to collect the required documents.

It seems to happen at many branches and it take a few days.

As you can apply between 45 days before and your last day of your current stay, there is time enough if you start early. The 1 year Extension is added to your current stay, so no losing of days by going early. And as there is no need to get a list of each and every bank branch in Thailand with their service mentioned i close this for commenting

I had the same problem in Prachinburi, but was aware of it

Your local branch can / will order the statement from Bangkok. Collect from branch few days later.

So you walked in the bank, they ordered a form from Bangkok, you picked it up a few days later and that is a problem?

I asked if anyone else encountered the same problem. Clearly, if the issue is consistent across the board, people need to take it into consideration when planning a renewal.
