I have a non O dependent visa and will apply for a long stay (retirement) extension in Phuket shortly. I have the required 800k that I haven’t touched for years sitting in a e-passbook fixed deposit with SCB. I get online statements and there is no ’book’ to update… it stays in the same account and rolls over when it becomes due.
My question is this. Has anyone used this kind of account at Phuket immigration for their 800k? Will they accept official stamped SCB bank printouts to show the continuity of the deposit, without a book because this account doesn’t have one?
TIA
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether Phuket immigration will accept official stamped bank printouts from an e-passbook fixed deposit account with SCB as proof of the required 800k for a long stay retirement extension, given that the account does not provide a physical book for updates.
