Hello everyone. Sorry I have to ask again about my visa extension:
Today I went to BKK immigration to extend my NON-O retirement visa for 1 year. I updated my bankbook and made a copy of every page 1 year back. I also get a letter from the bank (Bangkok Bank) to confirm everything. The bank gave me also a signed account printout with every transaction 6 months back. 12 months they cannot do it on the same day they said. I have to preorder 2-3 days in advance (in person). I failed, the officer said it has to be 12 months, and the copies of the bankbook are not enough she said. Okay get it but how can I do everything on the same day as they request if the bank needs 2-3 days (for the account overview with every transaction 12 months back) and the date will not be the day I get the account overview? I’m confused.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on how to meet the documentation requirements for a NON-O retirement visa extension at BKK immigration, particularly regarding the timing of obtaining a 12-month bank statement and a current updated bank book. Comments suggest obtaining the bank statement in advance and ensuring the bank letter is recent, with the updated bank book provided on the day of the application.
