Hi everybody

My retirement visa expires on October 8th.

I transfered money on my bank account in order to have the 800k 2 months before my visa application at immigration office.

I waited too long to update my bookbank and now the transfer doesn't appear on it.(didn't know that if you don't update it regularly old transactions won't appear).

I will anyway need a bank statement but do you think that the transfer not showing on the bookbank and the balance>800k not showing as well at the date I transfered the money might cause a problem?

My IO is Petchaburi.

Does anyone have the list of the required documents there ?

Guess it's the same than in other offices but wanted to be sure

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about their retirement visa renewal as their bank statement does not reflect a recent transfer necessary to meet the 800,000 baht requirement. They inquired whether this could pose a problem at the Petchaburi immigration office and sought information on the specific documents required for the application process. Community members advised obtaining a detailed bank transaction printout from the bank to confirm the transfer and suggested visiting the immigration office for specific requirements.

also ask your bank how long to get the year statement. My branch of Bangkok Bank will do 6 month while you wait but for a 12 month statement told me it will take 7 days to order ๐Ÿ™ƒ

I update my book once a year, the day I go to get my extension. Never a problem as you need bank statements print out anyway

yes usually 5 working days for the 12 month statement from Bangkok Bank. The 12 month statement you can print yourself from the app doesn't work so you need to get the official one

Go to your bank and ORDER a year detail transaction print out ๐Ÿ™‚

That will show every transaction on that account for a year and the transfer will show up in that

That's why most immigration offices now require that yearly print out, because they know people don't update their bank book like before when you needed to HAVE it to do any transactions at the bank ๐Ÿ˜›

As far as what the requirements are for Petchaburi, you need to slog on over to that office BEFORE you're going to apply for the extension and get the hand out from them or talk to them about it. There are over 80 offices in the country and each one is quirky about how they do it

This is a general list of what you could be asked for
