Thanks to the contributions made by the moderators and members of this group, I successfully obtained my 90-day Non-O visa based on retirement in June.
Today, I am returning to the Kingdom and planning to visit the Chiang Mai immigration office tomorrow morning to apply for my yearly extension of stay. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me whether I could only present a 6-month bank statement (that I can get an instant print-out tomorrow) instead of a 1-year bank statement? (Bangkok bank says they need 3 days to prepare) Since I am basing my application on the 800K deposit method (which is already 2 months seasoned) rather than the 65K monthly method? Thank you very much!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can use a 6-month bank statement for their yearly extension of stay based on the 800K deposit method for their Non-O visa. They receive feedback indicating that a 3-month statement is sufficient for their first yearly extension, as their funds have been seasoned for 2 months, but they must ensure their bank book is updated on the day of application.
