Will a rejected DTV visa with a VOID sticker affect my Non B visa application?

Hi,

I had my DTV rejected last year. I have since been to Thailand once on a tourist visa.

Now, I have found a job and they will sponsor my work permit. But I have a visa sticker with VOID stamped on it as a rejected DTV visa. Will this be an issue when I apply for Non B?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about applying for a Non B visa after having a DTV visa rejected, which left them with a VOID-stamped visa sticker. Comments from other users indicate that having a rejected visa shouldn't affect the new application as long as they have a legitimate job offer and sponsorship.

May I ask what job you found and how the process went of them offering you employment and what it is you do . Many thanks good luck there . I tried but found it hard to get that over there .

nope won't affect you at all, believe me you're not the first person who didn't qualify for a visa at a consulate

Doubt it as long as you have a legit job at a legit company.

I am curious, does this mean you were issued a DTV and then at a later stage it was rejected? Why was it rejected?

@John ******
they applied at a consulate before they all switched to eVisa online PDF's,

AND

Some consulates would put the sticker visa in your passport, then if it wasn't approved they'd stamp VOID on the sticker 😮

Phnom Penh was FAMOUS for doing this for people who were applying for various visas

Here's a Tourist Visa from the thai consulate in P/P with the VOID stamp

- Yes, I know that there are sticker visas, as my DTV is a sticker. Just seems like extra work to create the sticker to just then reject it.

it really was a problem from Phnom Penh (and a few other consulates)
