Will I face any issues applying for a SETV if I have a VOID stamp on my non-IMM visa?

Hi,

My job officially terminates by the end of March, and I'm thinking to get a tourist visa. My company had collected my work permit and passport, and returned my passport to me with a VOID stamp on my non-IMM visa and another small stamp saying I can stay until the 6th of April. My question is, will there be any issue or chances being denial a SETV if I go apply before the day I need to leave? Say tomorrow or Thursday.

Your advice is appreciated, TIA :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a tourist visa (SETV) after their work visa has been marked VOID. Despite the situation, other users suggest that applying for the SETV should generally not be a problem if the user brings the required documentation to the embassy or consulate.

I also got a letter from the BOI says my job is terminated by my company( that's what the lady at the visa team of my company told me, as I don't read Thai πŸ˜…) ,as for the VOID stamp, yes it's on my passport, overlapping another stamp saying non-imm reentry permit. I'm not sure if this is the visa itself or an extension of stay.

Thank you! So since it was cancelled, then I should be fine to apply for SETV right away then? Don't want to wait til the last day that I have to leave this country.

First time I read that Immigration actually cancels a Visa. Getting a SETV should be no problem if you take all the papers with you that are required by the Embassy or Consulate of your choice.
