Hello, I am currently residing in Thailand with a non-immigrant b visa with work permit but I would like to leave my current situation and apply for the DTV instead. Does anyone have experience or know how it works applying for the DTV when already on another visa? Thank you.

I'm in the same situation. From what I've read we need to cancel the work permit and extension of stay. Then leave the country and can apply for DTV under whichever category you qualify for.
