Have people encountered issues working in Thailand while applying for the WorkCation DTV visa?

People who have gotten the WorkCation DTV when you submit all your paperwork was there ever an issue of you working previously while in the country? I'm assuming everyone who is applying for the DTV has stayed in Thailand at least a little and if you are applying for this DTV you would have been working while on some other Visa that you 'technically' shouldn't have been working on. Has anyone had an issue with this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around concerns about working while on a different visa before applying for the WorkCation DTV. Contributors generally agree that past employment is not typically a concern as long as the applicant's previous visa is valid and not canceled. They emphasize that applicants should provide the correct documentation during the application process and that remote work for a foreign company is acceptable under the DTV visa.

Whatever you did for work or visits pre application is not relevant as long as you don't have any visa type that is not cancelled. Just apply submit the correct documents as asked by whatever embassy location you apply. If they have an issue they will request more documents and maybe an interview good luck

I doubt MFA staff are going through applications with a fine tooth comb unless you put something blatant the approving officer cannot ignore. There are many people approved in your situation.

Remote job can be done from anywhere, as long as you don't work with any thai company, you are good. That's why they formally introduced this visa so people can stay longer, rather than bounce back
