Could I ask for some help please with clarification on the Covid insurance needed for entry. We are applying for the 60 day tourist visa.
So do I need insurance for the 60 days? Or just 30?
We may leave after 30. Not sure exactly what our plans are yet.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking clarification on the duration of Covid insurance needed for a 60-day tourist visa to Thailand, questioning whether to get it for the full 60 days or just for 30 days. The comments recommend obtaining insurance for the full 60 days to avoid potential issues with entry and visa validation.
If you want to prevent any issues get it for 60. You run a risk of only getting stamped in for 30 days if that's all your insurance covers.

I did the same visa, I got it for the whole 60days. Originally I was staying 90 days, however work commitments changed that and I am only staying 30. It is not expensive to get it for 60 days, however better to be safe when it comes to applying for the Thai pass. Maybe you may get rejected because not for your entire stay.
