ORIGINAL POSTER
I am in Thailand presently and I have a STV Visa; but, I am unable to extend it by 90 days. The Government of Thailand and the Immigration has made a new rule which states that with STV Visa one has to purchase the Covid 19 related Insurance. However, all the Insurance companies now only give Insurance for 30 days only and not for 90 days! The insurance companies are willing to give 1 year insurance which costs from 35 to 80 thousand Baht. Which I find too expensive to purchase for 90 days stay in Thailand. Please advice what I should do? If I purchase 30 day insurance I have to leave Thailand in 30 days and cannot extend my Visa further.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Thailand on an STV Visa but cannot extend it due to new insurance requirements. They mention that insurance companies only offer 30-day plans, while they need coverage to extend their stay by 90 days. The comments suggest contacting specific individuals and insurance providers that may offer suitable options.
