I'll be doing my first 90 days report despite after having spent approx 1 year in Thailand because everytime I left the country with a re entry permit and the 90 days was reset.

The first 90 days report has to be done in person and subsequent I can do it online right?

Question: I'll be moving house to another address does it mean that I have to redo the 90 days report in person using the new address and new TM30 90 days from my last report / entry into Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When moving to a new address in Thailand, you must file a TM30 within 24 hours of the move. The first 90-day report must be done in person at the new immigration office, where you submitted the TM30. However, you can report your 90-day status online for subsequent reports after completing your first one in person. It's possible to submit your 90-day report 14 days before it’s due; if it gets rejected, a visit in person will be necessary.

I believe you need to do your first report in person and you will need a new TM30 when you move

same I believe so too.

I'll get the tm30 done via the app within 24hours after the move and then I'll try 90 days online reporting. If it gets rejected I'll go in person then...

Gosh I hate spending hours at chaengwatanna 555

I also always leave the country after extension before my 90 day report is due. Last year after re-entry I did my 1st 90 day report in person. But this year after re-entry end of September I registered for online reporting and just today did my 1st 90 day report online 14 days before it was due. It was approved in about 3 hours. So it therefore does not need to be done in person every time after re-entry.

The TM30 needs to be filed within 24-hours of moving to your new address. The 90-days isn't reset; you just report as usual but you'll have to do it in person at your new Immigration office, where the TM30 was filed, the first time.

will bear in mind for TM30 I need to file within 24 hours after I move to new address

For now I'm still staying at my old address and this is the first time I have to do a 90 days report because I exited country and re entered, so naturally it counts as 90days from the latest arrival date. Not sure if I'll get fined this time because of tm30.

I did all previous extensions without a problem using this address and docs provided by my language school

With the new online system sometimes the old advice doesn't prove true anymore. You can submit your 90 day report up to 14 days early so try doing it early and if it's rejected you'll have time to do it in person. Same goes for when you move, you're not out anything trying and maybe saving yourself a trip. Some people have reported success and some have reported being rejected

for TM30 u need to download section38 app from iOS appstore or android playstore. Do note that you must change your region to Thailand else u might not be able to find the app.

For 90 days reporting aka tm47 use

quick update. While waiting for the queue at immigration I managed to get the username password for the section38 app.

Previously they sent me the email but when I click to confirm email address, the webpage wasn't working.

After having the login details i quickly register myself as a resident but the date of arrival can only be put today.

I left it as today and expiring at the end of this current rental contract

Went up to do the 90 days report in person and it was smooth af and no issues. Will def bear in mind to do the tm30 within 24 hours or force my landlord to do it for me

From what I know many of the landlord refuses to provide the blue book or register a foreigner as a resident of their place because they don't wanna pay additional tax

will be heading down now to file a 90 days report. However I do not have a TM30 because my landlord is very old and not tech savvy.

I tried registering for an account for the landlord via section38. Got an automated email that supposed to give me the username and password but when I click on the link it's invalid / doesn't load.

I'm now bringing the original rental contract, photocopy of landlord's blue book + ID card to see if they can sort it out for me.

The rental contract however it's not under my name but my girlfriend's. Hope there is no issue, will report back later after I'm done for the day

I tried but maybe I did it too early, miscalculated the dates. I think I did it 17 days instead of 15 days before and it was rejected

Reason: Previous notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days is not found.
