Quick question cause I’m a bit confused. Been living in Thailand for a while now and we’re used to the 90-day report process.
Last time we travelled out of Thailand was in Dec 2024, did our 90-day at Chaengwattana in March 2025 and only travelled to an island in Thailand in April.
We tried doing our 90-days report online and it was rejected under the reason “For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.”
Do they now consider travelling outside of your region travelling outside Thailand?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the rejection of their online 90-day report after traveling within Thailand, and whether recent travels outside the region are classified as international travel. Community members have shared similar experiences, discussing issues like the necessity of filing a TM30 after hotel stays, the requirement for in-person submissions following travel, and the inconsistency of online reporting approvals.

Try mailing it in, they told me after you travel you can’t do it online , otherwise you will have to go in person and pay 2000 and they will use half a passport page and it could take hours
I'm in CM and I also got rejected online after a hotel stay locally. When I went down to the office, they said I shouldn't have been rejected. Oh well, I'm retired and they have a drive thru, so I just go through that every 90 days now
They do not, but this is not an isolated case and people who have done a 90 day report in person after coming back into the country have reported being denied when reporting the second time.
IF you're still within the window to apply (which seems to be from 2 weeks before down until 1 week before at some offices) all you can do is file another 90 day online.
Once I had to file FOUR times (got 3 rejections) until it went thru and was approved (I still don't know why)
