Is TM30 necessary for 90 days report in immigration ? or i can just go with rental contract that already expired since i’m leaving thailand soon
Answer summary
Yes, the TM30 is necessary for completing the 90-day report at immigration. It's the host's responsibility to submit the TM30. If you're leaving Thailand soon, some users suggest skipping the 90-day report, as it might be irrelevant. However, it's important to ensure you have an updated TM30 registration, as it may need to be submitted by your landlord shortly before your 90-day report.

You need to ask your landlord to submit a new TM30 report each time, because the TM30 information may only appear in the immigration system for 7 days. For example, if you need to complete your 90-day report, ask the landlord to submit a new TM30 within 7 days before you do the 90-day report. An expired rental contract alone may not be sufficient.
Tm30 has nothing to do with rental agreement, where ever you are staying, the tm30 has to be active. Its not your reaponsibility, the host has to do it. Ask for the tm30 receipt, you can do 90day report with it. Im not sure, but even if you had rental/hotel/something but they didnt make tm30 of you, you cannot do 90day report (maybe, if you pay them or agent), an agency might be able to, I advice you to go for an agent
