Who is responsible for filling out the TM30 when moving on the same day as my visa extension begins?

If I want to move from my current residence on the same day as my visa extension begins who fills in the TM30. My current or new landlord?

So let's say my visa exemption ends on the 5th, and I want to extend it.

But I also want to move to a new residence on the 5th. Who is supposed to assist me with the forms?

And what if I moved out slightly earlier, so the 4th or 3rd?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When moving to a new residence on the same day your visa extension begins, the TM30 form must be filled out by your new landlord. However, it's generally advisable to not wait until the last day to apply for your extension, as many offices allow you to apply well in advance (30 to 45 days). If you move out before the extension date, your new landlord will still be responsible for submitting the TM30.

You'd be crazy to wait until your last day to apply for your extension. You can apply for an extension when you have 30 days left at most offices, and 45 days at some offices.

So I don't plan on applying on the last day, sorry if that was confusing, I meant who should fill in the TM30 given that I will not be staying with my current landlord in the second month. Is it possible that the second landlord could fill in the form for me? Even if I only move out on the day my visa is extended from.

you don't fill anything out. It is all your landlord's responsibility.

right they fill it out, but I make the application. I'm just curious about whether it's the landlord I'm intending to stay with during the period of the extension or the landlord I'm staying with at the moment of application.

you are highly confused. You have nothing to do with filling out any TM30 form. You fill out your extension form, and that has nothing to do with your landlord and the fact that you move. The only thing immigration is concerned with is that your address that you list on the form matches the current TM30 they have on file at that very moment. They do not care if you move after you apply and the extension is approved. The extension days are added on to your current stamp, so you do not lose any vacation days by applying early. You are trying to overthink something you made up. It has no reference to your extension at all.

TM30 only deals with today. Not the future.

a property owner is required to submit a TM30 within 24 hours of a foreigner arriving at their property to stay.

so when I make the application for extension it needs to be filled by the landlord I'm staying with at the time of the application? Even if move to a new residence immediately/very soon after that? Then the new landlord will re register me with them?

Thanks ๐Ÿ™
