Hi, i used to come to thailand with a visa but this time i just came with the 30 days visa exempt. After a week in Phuket in a hotel I'm back to my condo in Pattaya. Do i have to do a TM30? Sorry but things may have changed in a way or another. Thanks ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have entered Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption, you do need to submit a TM30 form within one business day of arrival at your property. While some comments suggest that submitting a TM30 may not be necessary if you are not extending your visa, it is generally considered good practice to file it for future reference.

It's better to do it, if you ever need it. It's not difficult, you just need to ask.

Most landlords/building owners are usually used to the process.

If you're not extending your exempt stamp, why bother filing a tm30?

Because it's the law. Of course, always ask the local immigration office for their policy.

Amazing Thailand, no changes in the last few years about registration of your address within 24 hours

A TM30 should be submitted no later then one business day after a person arrives at the property.
