Hi all. About the TM30. So I moved into my new condo with my gf and the condo is in her name (does it matter).

So my landlord will do it but how does it work, do I need to hand it in immediately to immigration or he only needs to put the date on it and I can take it to immigration on Monday when I go there?

Another option is or we should just do it online, but he is old and covid now so it might be inconvenient for him.

I'm new to this as I always used an agency and they can't really give me any advice besides to put the date on within 24hours of handing it in or I'll pay a fine (or my landlord).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form must be filed by the property owner (landlord) when a foreigner moves into their property. The landlord is responsible for submitting the TM30 to immigration within 24 hours. You can either hand it in to immigration immediately after it's completed or use the online option, though your landlord may prefer to apply in person. Since you are new to this process, ensure your landlord puts the correct date on the TM30 to avoid any fines.

It's down to the property owner to file the TM30
