When should I return to the immigration office to finalize my Non-B visa extension?

Need your advice.

I got work permit for one year and non b visa for 3 months. After the 3 months passed, I went to Chiang Watthana immigration with bunch of documents to extend for one year non B.

For some reason they extended just for 1 months and told me to come back next time without any documents to extend for one year.

The question is if I should come on the last day of my visa (Aug 8 ) or should I go a week ahead?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster has been granted a 30-day under consideration extension for their Non-B visa and is advised to return to the immigration office on the appointed date indicated on their stamp, rather than waiting until the last day of their current visa. Comments indicate that processing for the extension typically concludes within a month, and returning on the specified date is recommended.

This is a 30 day under consideration stamp for having a thai wife, BUT you should have a stamp close to it in your passport that has the date you go back to get the 'results' on your Non-B extension application.

Go back to the immigration office on the date the stamp in your passport says to go back

You have an "under consideration" stamp in your passport now, that's the date you go back. You previous expiration date is no longer valid

30 days "cobsideration stamp" as generally 2 weeks is the

consideration time , ur all good

Got it

You are confusing an 'under consideration' given for applying for a Non-Immigrant type visa (which is 14 days) and an under consideration that is given when people apply for a yearly extension (based on marriage, work, raising children) which is always 30 days.

A yearly extension goes under consideration for one month that’s why you got 30 days. Go back on the given date and they will stamp your one year extension.

Thanks guys! So I should go there on the last day of my visa. Right?

Generally it takes one month for the immigration to process your visa renewal application. I don't see there'd be any problem. Just go back on the appointed date to collect your one year visa.
