Hi, currently on the 3 month part of Non-O visa and was told to go back on 15th Oct for the extension to a year (stamp in my passport is 15th Oct) but just seen this image and now wondering should I have gone back to immigration already or by the date stamped? Any help greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on the 90-day non-O visa and is uncertain about whether to return to immigration for their extension before or on the stamped date of 15th October. Responses suggest that if not yet applied for the extension, the user should visit immigration as soon as possible to prepare the required documents but can return on the stamped date if they have already applied for the extension.

Not sure why they would tell you to return on a specific date unless you have already applied for an extension and the application has gone under consideration? This would be normal if your Non-O is for marriage,

If you are on the first 90 days stamp from Non-O (in-country or entry) and have NOT applied for a 1-year extension yet, go to get the handout of requirements for your extension as soon as possible so that you can get ready for an extension application. You will need some time to get all the necessary documents. And do NOT wait until the last day in case you are asked for additional documents. An extension will be added to your current stamp, you won't "lose" any day even if you apply earlier.

On the other hand, if you already applied for 1-year extension during the first 90 days, you will go to the immigration office on that exact day to get the rest of the stamp.

It is the permit-to-stay stamp from the initial Non-O visa. If this is the latest, you haven't applied for 1-year extension yet. Go to the local office to get the requirements list as soon as possible. if yu applied for a 1-year extension, you should have an "under-consideration" stamp until about 1 month after 15 Oct.

thanks Ellie. This is the stamp. So I assume this stamp means I have applied for 1-year extension correct? Based on your diagram Iโ€™m trying to figure out if Iโ€™m at the initial visa stamp stage or extension stage.

, you mixed the initial visa application procedure and 1-year extension procedure. blue receipt for 2000 baht with return date is for the initial visa application. A 1-year extension application would get you an under-consideration stamp (or extension of stay directly) and a blue receipt for a 1900 baht fee without a return date.
