TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a 30-day extension on April 8 in Chiang Mai and is uncertain if they need to return to the immigration office before the extension expires on July 31. Commenters mention that typically, individuals with an 'under consideration' stamp must follow up with immigration. However, the details can vary, and it's generally recommended to visit the immigration office to ensure compliance.

I received 30 days, so I assumed it was not under consideration. Then I read it more closely. Hopefully no problems.

The only thing you can do is go by the immigration office and see what they do or tell you to do. :)

Chiang Mai was indeed requiring people to go back with the under consideration stamps and get the final extension of stay stamp.

Swing by the immigration office and see what they tell you to do

So I take it we better return even though we did the right thing and asked twice if everything was finished and ok.

On may 15.

we went to Chiang Mai immigration on the same day our stamp said. They processed the passport said we were done and the did not add a stamp.

We have been recommending getting the Under Consideration loop closed. Contact Chiang Mai immigration as they have been expecting you to do so as instructed.

Applicant must contact this office again in person on 7 May 2020.
