Hi everyone! visa related question here:
I was given a 60 days non-b visa (under-consideration) in order to apply for my work permit, but applying for work permit took longer time than expected and my non-b will expire this friday. I was supposed to extend my non-b to annual one, but without WP its obv not possible. Have anyone had similar situation? Can immigration extend my current non-b for 1-2 more months, so I'll have more time to receive my WP?
TLDR : Answer Summary

They seek advice on the possibility of extending their non-B visa for a short period. Commenters suggest that extensions are challenging to obtain without a work permit and underline the necessity of visiting immigration before the visa expiration.
