What should I do with my 30-day stamp on arrival if I am applying for a Non-B visa in Thailand?

Hi, I have a 30 day stamp on arrival by land from Cambodia, that expires on the 9th of June. I am in the process of cobbling together the paperwork for a Non-B. I believe the application for that visa requires at least 15 days validity? If so I need to extend this free on arrival stamp at a Thai Immigration office, a further 30 days, and then proceed out of the country for the Non-B? Thanks for your great collective advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on managing their 30-day stamp on arrival in Thailand, which expires on June 9th. They plan to apply for a Non-B visa and are unsure if the visa application requires at least 15 days of remaining validity. They are considering extending their stamp for an additional 30 days at a Thai Immigration office and possibly exiting the country to complete the Non-B visa application process.

It sounds like a plan, but talk with your employer if he can apply at Immigration for conversion of your Visa Exempt Entry or the Extension into a Non Immigrant B visa.

Saves you some travel.
