Does anyone know what will happen. I got my passport yesterday, after applying for 1 year visa extension and It's approved by chaengwattana immigration but they forgot to stamp the date for the next 90 days report. I don't know when I should to show up. My Non-b will expire 12 Dec, they let me come back 12 Dec to finalize my application for transferring my non-b to 1 year. 12 Dec the chaengwattana immigration took my passport for thoroughly checking and said that I should be back on Friday and they will stamp my passport for extending it to 15 Dec then I can get my passport. They did stamp my passport 15 Dec 2017 and another stamp Expiration date for one year 6 December 2018. I'm so confused because the HR Manager who runs everything says I overstay, but anyway I will go to chaengwattana tomorrow to put some answers into this one and I still need some advice

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on their 90-day reporting date after receiving a one-year visa extension for their Non-B visa, which was approved by Chaengwattana immigration. Despite having the extension stamped until December 6, 2018, they are confused about when the 90-day reporting period begins, as the date was not clearly indicated on their documents. Community comments suggest that the 90-day report countdown starts after the extension is stamped, and it's safe to report 90 days from December 12.

if this is the first yearly extension you are getting then the 90 day count down clock wills start counting down AFTER you get this extension stamped into your passport. They will put a paper in it like this in your passport when you get your yearly extension stamped in.

Thanks Tod! This morning I went to c. immigration and they forgot to place this small paper notice to my passport. They're so unbelievable, when it comes for asking requirements for this application. They will require a lot from you and when all is done and approve they forgot to put this important details. But anyway, I'm grateful because all my colleagues thought I overstay and luckily that wasn't the case. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

You got an Extension of Stay till 6 Dec 2018, so you are not on overstay of the visa. The 90 day in Thailand report can be made 15 days early til 7 days later, I would count 90 days from 12 Dec and report than you are always safe.

My next date of notification is 10 Feb., Thanks for the advice. Luckily they didn't charge me for anything because it was them who forgot to put the date.

Hi Stacey the Thai embassy in Australia states that the non immigrant visa commences from the date of issue. I would count from that date.
