TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a 30-day TR visa extension set to expire on February 27, 2021, and is seeking guidance on visa options following their extension. They plan to marry a Thai national but are concerned about financial requirements for a Non-O visa. Community responses suggest that if the user marries before the extension ends, they can apply for a 60-day visit family extension or, if eligible, a 90-day Non-O visa based on marriage. They can also potentially apply for a COVID-19 extension. Overall, it's advised that they register their marriage and consult immigration authorities for specific guidance.

Okay, hang about and take a deep breath :O
@And****
you got a 30 day extension because you just recently entered the country and that's the "regular" extension you get FIRST.

BUT

That's fine, and you probably can do this all without even screwing around with the 60 day visit family OR the 60 day covid extension.

Get your marriage registered at the Amphur then you and your thai wife go to Chaengwattana and talk to the people in Section C-1 (they issue in country Non-Immigrant Type visas) and get the hand out listing the requirements.

You need at least 15 days on your current stamp to apply for a Non-Immigrant visa in that section (because it goes under consideration for 14 days before you go back and get the Non-O visa and a new 90 day stamp.

IF you can get your shit together fast enough and get the marriage registered, you should be able to pull off applying for the 90 day Non-O visa without needing any other extension.

Get a COVID 60 days extension by applying for it by January 29.

Giving you added time to get your marriage extension plan finished

knows best of MTT/CW immigration in Bangkok.

I wonder IF you could apply for the 60 day COVID extension on Jsnuary 29 ???

And if not...

Then prior to your current February 28 end date...and marriage registered...

Could apply for the 60 days family visit extension ??

well IF you manage to get married before your current extension runs out you certainly could apply for a 60 day visit thai family extension.

AND

IF you're from one of the countries that still issues the income affidavit notary letters that state you get more than 40K baht a month in income from your country you could use that to apply for an in country 90 day Non-O visa based on marriage and then a yearly extension based on marriage.

is your home country Spain ?

If they provide the income affidavit that is your key to getting your one year stay as

said.

same same. Use the affidavit of income. 😊

@And****
, then you need to focus on "getting" married before this current stamp runs out. :) That's how you're going to move forward on staying longer. (y)
