My year was thwart but Pneumonia and Covid and basic survival and being defrauded by my previous land lord so it’s my fault completely but would love some advise on how to proceed. Cheers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking urgent assistance regarding a marriage visa, as their current visa expires on September 1st. Due to previous health and housing issues, they feel overwhelmed with the next steps. Several options were suggested in the comments, including applying for a COVID extension, a Family Visit extension if married to a Thai national, or traveling to Laos to apply for a One Year Non-O visa without financial proof. These recommendations aim to help the user navigate their visa situation effectively.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
  • Join the Thai Visa Advice Facebook Group to ask your questions, and get advice from others.

I will attempt to reply to your question with several options for you to consider...

1. ..Get the COVID extension?

The last day to apply for the 60 days COVID extension is August 24th...ask your local Thai immigration office for their requirements to apply.

2...Or family visit extension?

IF you are legally married to a Thai AND you have not yet USED the 60 days Family Visit Extension... go to Thai immigration with your Thai wife and ask for their requirements for the Family Visit Extension.

3...You could go to Savannakhet, Laos and apply for the One year multiple entry Non O Visa as Married to Thai...NO PROOF OF FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS is needed...(you don't have to show PROOF of 400,000 Thai baht in a Thai bank account in your name only)...that Visa will give you a 90 day stamp on arrival into Thailand .. and EACH 90 days you will need to leave Thailand and reenter Thailand which again gets you 90 days stamp each time during the one year validity of this Visa.

Hopefully this will solve your situation.

Actually an extension is exactly what I need right now so that I can have the time to legitimately organise my correct request. Not looking for any dodgy stuff. Thank you so much πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

you have several extension options...

Suggest you use the 60 days COVID extension FIRST...

Saving the 60 days Family Visit Extension for later if needed during this stay in Thailand.

We wish you success in your extension of stay efforts.
