Hi probably not a complicated question.

I have a O visa based on marriage that was 90 days, runs out on the 12th Dec.

Myself U.K. National and my wife Thai National wish to extend our stay until end of February.

What is the best extension I can get and what paperwork will I have to submit to immigration?

Can I extend another 90 days?

Or will I have to go for a year visa?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 90-day O visa based on marriage, which expires on December 12, and wants to extend their stay until the end of February. The options discussed include obtaining a yearly extension based on marriage with financial requirements, applying for a 60-day extension to visit family, or a 60-day extension due to COVID-19. A 90-day extension is not available once already in the country.

Seeing as your wife is a thai national we'll leave her out of the equation (because she doesn't need to extend anything to stay in her own country longer ;) )

You on the other hand have 3 options;

There is no 90 day extension available to you so that's off the table. You got that 90 day stamp when you ENTERED the country you can't get it inside the country..

1 - meet the financial requirements (400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply) and get a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai.

2 - apply for a 60 day "visit thai family" extension based on marriage to a thai (this does not require proof of funds)

3 - apply for a 60 day "unable to travel due to covid-19" extension

Those would be the options you have available to you.
